Snowboarding: Les Arcs, France Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: <60Kph Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: -11 to -4 Sea Temperature: Weather: Squally heavy snow showers Max Speed: Distance Covered:
We'd had about a 30cm dump overnight and still falling. Only 2 lifts open
due to the wind and high avalanche risk. In the group lesson we went down
'Marmottes' about 6 times, Cascade once, and the riding the chairlifts
wasn't pleasant. But the snow! WOW! My first time on so much proper powder.
It was so deep in places that if I fell I couldn't get up again. Despite
the poor conditions, the snow made for a really good sesh. My riding wasn't
so good today, I put that down to unfamiliar conditions. After lunch,
lethargy and hot tea won the day :-)
